Grubbs Legal Consultant is a boutique international legal consulting firm based in Florida, founded and led by Luciene Grubbs, an attorney licensed with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ) and a Foreign Legal Consultant (Rule 16, Florida Bar), authorized to provide legal consulting in Brazilian law. We work in partnership with licensed U.S. attorneys, ensuring technical rigor and full compliance in all legal matters.

With more than 20 years of international experience, Luciene has built a solid career in Brazil, the United States, and the Middle East. Her trajectory includes:
Leading the legal department of Diários Associados for 10 years.
Serving as an attorney for Globo, the largest media group in Latin America.
Gaining international experience in Bahrain (2010–2012), developing strategic intercultural insight.
Since 2017, expanding her career in the United States with experience in contracts, immigration, support in maritime law and commercial litigation, as well as legal consulting in Brazilian law.
This diverse and resilient background culminated in the creation of Grubbs Legal Consultant, which today bridges binational legal expertise with market intelligence to transform legal challenges into opportunities for growth.

Attorney and legal consultant specializing in business, immigration, contracts, and civil law. She holds an LL.M. in U.S. Law from George Mason University – Antonin Scalia Law School and an LL.M. in Business Law from Ibmec University in Brazil.
Certified by The Florida Bar as a Foreign Legal Consultant in 2022 under Rule 16 – Limited Practice, she has been a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) since 2007. Fluent in English and Portuguese, with working proficiency in Spanish, she excels in communicating with diverse clients and colleagues.
Luciene’s experience covers multiple legal areas. She has successfully managed contracts, litigation, immigration issues, and legal consulting in both Brazil and the United States, showing exceptional versatility and adaptability. Her career includes leading the legal department at Diários Associados, one of Brazil’s largest media groups, and serving as legal counsel for Globo, Latin America’s biggest media company. Her professional journey also reflects a rich cultural dimension. From 2010 to 2012, she lived in Bahrain, gaining cross-cultural insight and exposure to Middle Eastern business environments. In 2017, she relocated to the United States, where she expanded her career to include contract review, immigration paralegal work, maritime litigation support, and Brazilian law consulting.
Luciene considers her resilience in rebuilding her life and career in the U.S. one of her greatest accomplishments. Today, she runs her cross-border legal consultancy, helping individuals and businesses navigate complex legal issues between Brazil and the United States.
