Lis Amaral is a renowned business consultant and leader in business development and legal management with over 20 years of experience. She is a founding partner of Grubbs and has made significant advancements in the legal ecosystem, being a pioneer in corporate and commercial solutions within law.
She holds a degree in Strategic Leadership from Ohio University (USA), an MBA in Business Management from IBMEC-RJ, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law. She is also a specialist in Privacy and Data Protection from Data Privacy Brazil, in ESG from FGV-RJ, and is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in International and Immigration Law.
Her contributions to business in Rio de Janeiro are notable, with numerous recognitions, including the Congratulatory Motion from the City Council of Rio de Janeiro (2022) and the prestigious Chiquinha Gonzaga Medal, awarded to women who work for democratic, humanitarian, artistic, and cultural causes at the Union, State, and Municipal levels.
Before establishing her law firm, Lis Amaral worked for 12 years as an Executive Director Partner and in business development management at one of the largest corporate law firms in Latin America. Since 2023, she has provided strategic business management consulting for renowned law firms, with a recent highlight being a case with 42 years of operation and national reach, FFA – Ferrareze e Freitas Advogados.
Lis Amaral has been licensed by the Regional Council of Real Estate Brokers of Rio de Janeiro since 2007 and stood out in the real estate sector for 7 years, generating millions of reais in sales and receiving awards for achieving goals and outstanding results. She is also licensed by Data Privacy since 2019, being a pioneer in implementing a privacy program for companies across various sectors, innovating with the use of gamification. She has accumulated over 400 hours of courses, training, mentoring, and lectures delivered to companies and entities throughout Brazil. She has authored articles, podcasts, and corporate interviews published throughout her career.

In 2024, Lis Amaral founded Grubbs Law, an international legal consultancy providing corporate and immigration solutions aimed at strengthening the business ecosystem between Brazil and the United States, strengthening institutional ties between the two countries.
